Vacation Certificate entitles you to a GRAND BAHAMA CRUISE & STAY VACATION
which includes:
A Round Trip Cruise for up to 4 passengers from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to the
Fabulous Grand Bahama Island!!!
While on board you will receive:

The cruise leaves
very early in the morning so if you are flying into
Ft. Lauderdale, you will need to arrive the night before and stay at a
downtown hotel. Most hotels have shuttle service to the cruise ship.
Check in starts at 6:00 am - you will go through customs and check in
your luggage. (You are allowed a carry-on bag)
Cruise leaves Fort Lauderdale between 7:30 - 7:45 am.
You then are directed into the dinning room for an ALL YOU CAN EAT
Breakfast Buffet.
Once the cruise ship enter the intercoastal waterway, the Casinos will open.
All activities begin throughout the ship and the swimming pools fill up.
Around 11:00 am you will be directed back into the dinning room for an
ALL YOU CAN EAT Lunch Buffet.
The Cruise Ship arrives at Freeport, The Grand Bahamas, at approximately
1:00 pm.
Once you have departed and obtained your luggage, there is public
transportation available to deliver you to your resort/hotel.
(Public Bus, Taxi Service, and Limo Service)
Trip back to Ft. Lauderdale.
Check in starts at 2:00 pm - you will go through customs and check in your
luggage. (Once again, you are allowed a carry-on bag)
Cruise leaves Freeport, The Grand Bahamas, at approximately 4:00 - 4:15 pm.
Once the cruise ship enter the intercoastal waterway, the Casinos will open.
All activities begin throughout the ship and the swimming pools fill up.
Around 6:00 pm you will be directed into the dinning room for a Captain's
Dinner.
After dinner, there is a Vegas Style Show in the Grand Ball Room for
your entertainment.
The Cruise Ship arrives in Ft. Lauderdale at approximately 10:00 pm.
The cruise ship arrives very late into Ft. Lauderdale so if you are
flying from
Ft. Lauderdale, you will need to stay at a downtown hotel and make
flight
arrangements for the following day. Most hotels have shuttle
service from
the cruise ship.

Reservations Portion of your Vacation
May I give this vacation to a friend or family member? Yes, after the
vacation is activated but before reservations are made, you can give this away
to anyone to use. After reservations are made, read the terms and conditions
regarding changes.
Is there a restriction
on how frequently a family may travel in one year?
No Restrictions, travel as frequently as you wish.
May we request a resort? Yes, you may request a favorite resort but all
vacations are booked based on availability so there is no guarantee that we can
secure that resort.
How soon can you travel? We recommend 60 days notice, but earlier
reservations will be accepted. (Keep in mind that all vacations are booked based
on availability. The more notice you give the more likely to secure your dates
of travel.)
May we upgrade to a 5 Star Resort? Yes, there is a nominal charge and
based on availability. Call FunTime for availability and pricing.
May we upgrade to an
ALL-INCLUSIVE Resort? Yes,

Where is the port of call? The cruise departs from Fort Lauderdale
daily. The port of call is Port Everglades on the waterway located downtown
Fort Lauderdale, Fl.
May I reserve a cabin for the trip to and from the Bahamas? Yes, you may
call ahead and reserve a cabin. The cabins range from approximately $25.00 -
$45.00. Remember that you will be on the ship for approximately 6 hours and
there are lockers and changing rooms available.
I will be driving to Ft. Lauderdale. Is there secured parking at the port?
Yes, the cost is approximately $7.00-$10.00/day.
ARE THE MEALS ALL YOU CAN EAT!! Yes, you will enjoy their
All-you-can-eat Breakfast and Lunch Buffets on the cruise to the Grand Bahama
Islands and enjoy a Captain's Dinner on the cruise back to Fort Lauderdale, Fl.
Are alcoholic beverages included in the fare? No; however, you may
purchase alcoholic beverages at several locations throughout the ship. The
beverages that are provided with each meal service are ice tea and water.
I'm a vegetarian, what do you serve to accommodate me? Yes, you will find
a variety of foods at our buffet to your advantage. For breakfast we serve hot
and cold cereals, fruit and assorted breads and sweet rolls. On our lunch and
dinner buffet we serve an assortment of fruit and salads, hot and cold
vegetables, and pasta dishes.
Do you use MSG in your food? No, we do not use the additive MSG in our
food.
Are kosher meals available
for sale on board? Yes,
Kosher meals and available for dinner and are served in our Grand Bahama Grill
dining room for a $21 charge per person. Reservations for kosher meals must be
made 72 hours prior to sailing.
We can Accommodate your Special Needs/Concerns
Would I be able to store my insulin on board ship? Yes, our infirmary on
board will assist in storing medication. You may also bring a small handheld
cooler to store medication and we will provide you with ice if necessary.
May I bring oxygen on board? Yes, prior notification needs to be made to
our Operations department so that arrangements can be made.
Are there non-smoking areas
aboard ship? Yes, we have
non-smoking sections in public areas, including The Starlite Showroom. Dining
rooms are completely non-smoking.
May I use my cellular phone on board ship? Yes, but cell phones are
generally out of reach after departure and do not work in the Bahamas.
G.B.I. Currency and Shopping
May I use traveler's checks on board ship? Yes, traveler's checks may be
cashed on board at the purser's desk.
Do you have an ATM machine on board ship? Yes, ATM machines are located
in the ship's lobby and Lucaya Casino.
What type of currency is
accepted on the island?
U.S. dollars are accepted by everyone. You will not need to exchange any
currency.
Are there any duty free shops in Freeport? Yes, duty free shopping is
available in Freeport and aboard the ship. Full advantage may be taken for
passengers who stay overnight for 48 hours or longer.
Are the shops open in Freeport on Sunday and holidays? Yes, on holidays
some straw market vendors and the gift shop on board the ship are always open.
However, the majority of the shops in Freeport are closed on Sundays and
holidays.
